1889
Length15' 4
Depth12
Weight65 lbs.
Beam34
Base Price$5,200.00
Our 1889 model derived from an ancient form, is arguably one of White's earliest models. It is just over 15' in length and has the classic looks of the late 19th century canoes - a lovely upsweep sheerline, tumble home sides and stylish reverse curves apparent at the decks and entries. She is stable enough for activities such as poling or fly-fishing, and is a pleasure to paddle either tandem or solo.

To Further bind the "1889" to her historic origins the model is available at extra cost with a package of options found exclusively on E.M. Whites earliest canoes. These include a D-shaped hand caned stern seat, ribs that are thinned as well as tapered at the gunwales, and the signature rolled copper wrap-around stem bands. Accented by black cherry gunwales and trim the "1889 classic" is a unique and stunning canoe.

Beam34
Base Price$5,400.00
The 16' Legacy is the dressed-up version of our 16' E. M. White line of canoes. It is built on the same 1930's form as the 16' Scout and Guide, but with full-curved stems and gunwales it has a classic appearance that White himself referred to as the "Sport" look. The Legacy shares the same superb handling qualities as its more utilitarian cousins and can come with either half ribs or a floor rack to further enhance it character and pedigree.
Penobscot
Length17' 4
Depth12
Weight72 lbs.
Beam34
Base Price$5,800.00
This model designed for pleasure paddling and fishing, has all the striking good looks of the early 17 and 18' models -a flat bottom with tumblehome sides, upswept profile, bow and stern, and distinctive sheerline. The result is a fast canoe and great casting platform, with beautiful lines, less adapted to heavy water tripping than our 18'6" Guide. The 17' Penobscot is available with half ribs and solo-paddling thwart.
Scout
Length16'
Depth11
Weight60 lbs.
Beam34
Base Price$5,200.00
The 16' White is fast and stable and ideal for paddling your favorite lake or flat-water. Her shallow depth limits her usefullness for extended tripping but if day-tripping and weekend trips make up the majority of your canoeing, you will find all the capacity you need for two adults.
